DFGE and MINT take the scare away from sustainability reports
From 2024, the sustainability report will be mandatory for companies with 500 employees or more than €40 million in turnover per year. In 2025, even for companies with 250 employees or more.
This represents an immense task, which is why two partners, DFGE and MINT, have teamed up to combine the scientific part of data collection and the creative part of preparation and thus take away the scare and minimize expenses with all-round reporting support.
Two birds with one stone
A sustainability report, particularly in the sense of the “Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive” (CSRD), means, on the one hand, complex and comprehensive data collection and, on the other hand, preparation and design that transmits the data in an understandable way and makes the sustainability report what it can be: A figurehead for the reporting company and its values.
In this sense, the issue of a sustainability report turns from a burden to an opportunity if you approach it the right way. And this is where the “reporting experts” come in, as the partnership between CSR experts from DFGE and the communications agency MINT is called. In its 40-year history, the agency has already prepared several sustainability and other annual reports, but has never had anything to do with the data collection. The opposite is true of DFGE, which regularly supports companies in collecting relevant data with its over 20 years of scientific expertise, but must fit in when it comes to preparing the finished report. This gap has now been closed.
“With MINT, we have found a partner who not only thinks in beautiful pictures, but has also understood the topic and knows what is important in communication for companies,” says Wolfgang Berger, Vice President Business Development at DFGE. Because in the B2B sector in particular, companies often do not have service providers on hand to process the data.
Valid and authentic
The close cooperation also ensures that mistakes and pitfalls such as greenwashing are avoided from the outset. This starts with the thorough, careful recording and calculation of data and activities and ends with implementation with reason and credibility. “There are basically no limits to creativity,” says Christian Schröder, Creative Director at MINT, “as long as the result suits the company and correctly reflects the data. ”
So many adjustments, lots of numbers and requirements. The promise of the report experts with their all-round support is therefore: A sustainability report without headaches. But with brains.
